Thanks for the input, but you forgot something...

The first service visit is $100 that you already collected from the 40 people. That accounts for the extra $4000.00.

You then offer those 40 people the upsell who (on average) THEN take the annual contract commencing from that point forward (it&#039;s not retroactive and you&#039;ve already made $4000 from them). 

So the numbers actually do work. ;-)

60 * $100 + 40 * $250 thats $6000 + $10000 or total $16000 bucks.

still a good number, but $16000 are not $20000 bucks ;)
so the value per customer is now $160 per year.
